One of the joys of being on the road is finding delight in small businesses in small towns.
Elijay, Georgia had a population of 1,862 in the 2020 census. The town is centered around a fountain and all business fan out like a kaleidoscope.
I wandered into the Blue Ridge Olive Oil Company and discovered 65 varieties of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Tasting was free and I walked out with some super special imported oil and a bottle of white balsamic vinegar. I can’t wait to see how they mix together!
Moving Up To ‘The Heights’
Here in Tennesse, we’re in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains.
My campsite is on top of a hill. Our one and only neighbor made this sign to indicate to any trespassers that they have entered our domain. But we do welcome visitors to Champagne Heights!
